Who is Lectrr? Lectrr is a 24-year-old Belgian cartoonist and all-round-comedian. His work has been published in both Belgium and the Netherlands and through translations, the rest of Europe seems to be falling for his charms as well. He is widely regared as the coming man in Belgian comic art.

Lectrr has a distinct style: he combines colourful, playful drawings with strong compositions and in-your-face humour.

Other than cartooning, Lectrr also focuses on comics and comedy. His stand-up-poetry and stand-up-comedy-acts can be seen throughout Belgium from the year 2004 and onwards.
























Besides his more commercial cartoons, Lectrr has published in various comic magazines, such as Myx, Zone 5300 and Ink. In 2002 he published his first comic book, Wormtroopers, a hard parody on autobiographic comic authors. New titles are in the pipeline for 2004, featuring a hilaric medieval/fantasy graphic novel and a totally absurd sci-fi comic series. Lectrr will also be publishing his first full colour cartoon anthology in 2004.

These cartoons were originally created for F.A.C.T.S., the biggest SCIFI - Manga - Fantasy and Comic-convention in the Benelux. The first series were created for the 2002-edition, and were such a huge success we decided to create another edition in 2003. After that, the series kept growing with new cartoons and new ideas, becoming what it is today.
